Telvent DTN is currently seeking someone who possesses a desire to win.The primary function of the Sales Specialist will be to sell Telvent DTN Weather information as a service to new prospects and existing business customers through outbound and inbound calls. These innovative services include; true location- specific weather graphics and information with Smart phone delivery, future radar capabilities, precipitation timing tools, one-of-kind geospatial systems and real-time weather graphics. The candidate should have a proven ability to exceed sales quotas, winning attitude and exceptional communications skills.  The Weather Sales Specialist sells value, not price.Only individuals who are assertive, high energy, self-directed and results-oriented should apply for this opportunity to have an excellent upside potential!!

Requirements:

• BA/BS in   business, related field or equivalent work experience required.
• Outbound phone   sales experience required.
• Excellent   verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proven ability   to exceed sales quotas.
• Ability to   work in a team environment is an absolute must.
• Ability to   manage a high volume of accounts with minimal supervision required.
• A background   in Meteorology helpful.
• Knowledge of sports,   recreation and turf industries is helpful.
• Experience   with a sales management software application is helpful.
