Job Description

The primary role of the Product Owner is to gather and document requirements for enhancements to current and proposed functionality. Secondarily, the Product Owner performs a variety of tasks related to enhancing and promoting our products.This includes assisting internal staff with product education, custom development projects, and product demonstrations.The Product Owner acts as the primary liaison between the product team and its customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops functional specifications
• Conducts usability analyses for major product groups
• Has knowledge of market, competition, customer use cases and needs
• Builds and draws upon industry knowledge and key relationships to define product vision and strategic goals
• Identifies and communicates data and system dependencies
• Facilitates Early Adopter, Beta and Focus groups to ensure quality delivery, successful implementation and usability
• Regularly assists marketing personnel in providing software demonstrations

Position Requirements

• BS degree
• Strong inter-personal, written, and oral communication skills
• Experience working with electric, gas, water and waste water utilities preferred
• Project Management experience preferred
• Must pass background check
