Telvent has an immediate opening for an Oracle Developer in our Austin, TX office.  Job responsibilities include maintaining the system interfaces and reports for revenue applications, supporting migration efforts, troubleshooting production problems and providing technical support.  This individual will also coordinate work activities with Project Management, Systems Engineers and Database Administrators.  Successful candidates are expected to handle various assignments in maintenance mode as well as new development projects.  Strong oral and written communications skills are required along with experience dealing with  multiple complex tasks and priorities.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle 10g or later in a UNIX environment
• Proven Oracle database performance analysis with large data sets
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Familiarity with ER diagrams and schema design
• Familiarity in Shell scripting and source management tools such as Clearcase
• Experience in Python, Actionscript, C, C#, Java, or Perl a plus
• Oracle Forms and Reports experience a plus
• BI-experience and Data Warehouse experience a plus
