Safety Service Patrol Operator - Full and Part-time

The position is responsible for the operation of a motor vehicle utilized to conduct interstate service patrol duties in service to the traveling public in Northern VA. The purpose of the patrol is to provide roadside assistant to stranded motorists (including tire changes, battery jumps, providing fuel, removing debris from the travel lanes, etc.), and to provide incident response, on-scene traffic control and limited first aid.

Requirements:

The individual should have good verbal and written communications skills, be able to work in a team/individual environment, as well as the capability to make decisions in stressful situations.Flexibility is a must as overnight, weekend work and shift rotation is required.Individual must maintain a clean, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

In addition, the following qualifications are required:Be able to lift 100lbs, work outside in potentially extreme weather conditions, have a clean driving record, be willing to provide emergency roadside service to motorists, observe safety procedures to avoid injury and accidents at all times.

High School graduate is preferred and must be 25 years or older with at least 1-2 year's general vehicle maintenance experience.Individual must be detail oriented and demonstrate problem solving ability.Having a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is desired but not required. The individual must be able to pass a criminal history check and drug test.
