Telvent is seeking a Software Development Manager to provide technical leadership in the improvement of existing products as well as the creation and design of new products.  Telvent offers an exciting development environment where creativity is strongly encouraged and flexibility is highly rewarded.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required
• 8+ years hands-on software development experience
• 5+ years proven experience managing successful software development teams and experience delivering software projects on schedule and within budget
• Experience managing complex software development projects and juggling several projects at the same time
• Excellent business acumen and ability to collaborate with other members of the business
• Minimum 10 years of experience developing software applications for specific industry solutions in Transportation ( 511 systems, Highway and Freeway Management Systems, Signaling systems, SCADA systems for Rail and Tunnels) or IVR (Interactive Voice Recognition)
• Proven experience with Cost Account Management
