Responsibilities:
- Confers with internal and external clients to suggest ideas and determine the type of images to work with that are appropriate for the end result, quantities, due dates, and costs
- Coordinates with team members on projects for information toward graphic needs
- From graphics request form or verbal instruction, prepares drafts, formats, and produces high quality graphics such as presentations, print ready electronic files, photographic needs, drawings, posters, flyers, brochures, documents, resumes, project descriptions, etc
- Prepares complex graphs, charts, matrices, forms, etc, and any other duties as assigned
- Determines print specifications and obtains quotes from vendors for external production needs
- Reviews artwork for typos, visual and written impact, and adjusts accordingly
- Trains other group personnel in basic graphics as necessary
- Inventories equipment and supplies as necessary and works with the Marketing Administrator for ordering and meeting production dates

Designs websites and mobile websites and ensures that they are visually effective and easy to access

Responsible for the layout, visual appearance, and usability of websites and mobile websites developed for clients

Writes web pages in a combination of codes such as XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Works toward weekly milestones on the development of high-visibility, high quality websites.

Meets with team to assess feasibility and priority of new features

Participates in testing regularly scheduled releases

Stays up-to-date with relevant technologies and proactively suggest architecture changes and new coding practices
Requirements:
- 4 year degree from an accredited university or college
- A strong understanding of designing for site functionality interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and intuitive navigation schemes
- Knowledge of User Experience design, including Wireframes
- Advanced knowledge of web browser capabilities
- Experience with XHTML, CSS
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Environment
- Ability to develop Web designs in Adobe CS4 Photoshop and create Website templates
- Ability to update, edit, and cut up graphics from Photoshop designs as well as develop images from scratch
- Experience creating animation with Adobe Flash
- Knowledge of Section 508
