Telvent to Implement New Wireless Communication Network and Border Surveillance System in Ghana

Project will improve control of migrant travel to and from neighboring countries. Telvent (NASDAQ: TLVT), the IT company for a sustainable and secure world, announced today that it has signed a contract with the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), an agency of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Ghana, to implement a digital surveillance system along Ghana’s borders with Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, and Togo. The system is intended to help monitor and control migrant traffic between Ghana and these neighboring countries.
