ITACA adaptative modules respond to real-time traffic conditions by modeling traffic and calculating improvements in the Cycle, Offset and Split to the current plan.
Integration and GIS management also became core issues as cities become larger and systems have been implemented over a long period of time. The MoviSmart platform provides integration capabilities and a unique GUI for monitoring and the smart exploitation of information, taking advantage of already installed subsystems and its interfacing capabilities.

- Public transport priority management
An important objective for most local authorities is to enhance the use of public transport. Our priority management system has been designed to improve journey time and the service reliability of public transport. As for urban adaptative management, the system uses ITACA or OPAC to influence traffic signal timings and enable priority vehicles to go though intersections without having to stop.
- Fleet management
Fleet management also responds to the consideration of offering a reliable public transport service to citizens. Our advanced management module aids in tracking vehicles and integrating bus timetables to provide users information about the time remaining for bus arrival. The bus tracking system is also necessary for implementing the priority management module described before.
- Emergency corridors
Preemption capabilities are also considered, allowing local or centralized generation and optimization of emergency corridors, providing easy movement of emergency vehicles within the normal circulation in your streets network.
- Parking guidance management
As part of the solution to improve urban mobility, this module collects information on available parking places all-around the city guiding drivers to the nearest Car-Park and informing them of the number of available spaces in real-time.
- Traveler information management
This module has been designed to improve urban mobility delivering real-time information about traffic conditions, travel times, itinerary recommendations, incident alerts, parking guidance… The information level is scalable to your own requirements and can be sent to users though Variable Message Signs (VMS), internet, SMS/email/PDA alerts, call centres…
- Vehicle access control to restricted areas
If pedestrian or public transport restricted areas are part of your policy, this module will enable you to implement control access restrictions to allowed vehicles only (emergency vehicles, public transport vehicles, taxis, cleaning vehicles…). This can be implemented by means of physical barriers or free flow solutions (using contactless cards, on board units, LPR).
- Enforcement
A dedicated module based on the latest technology (CCTV, licence plate recognition…) for Law Enforcement Management, including everything from offence detection, capture and reporting to the tools for managing the fining procedure.

- Incident management
As Center-to-Center information sharing is emerging in traffic management, incident management tools are already in place allowing users to prepare for future or unexpected events and manage the complete process until the resolution. The solution allows to coordinate incident response in real time with others agencies (emergency services, firemen, etc.).
- Operation & maintenance management
Our solution is focused on performance management, improving your operations productivity and optimising maintenance management. Our results are yours: productivity is boosted (our systems make operations faster by managing human and material resources) and maintenance costs are minimised (the integral maintenance module schedules preventive maintenance interventions, supervises equipment status, follows-up on corrective maintenance interventions and manages spare parts stocks).
